Wanna Know Something...

  • Avid DVD movie collector; I own over 500 DVDs

  • Started a movie blog called "The Morning Movie Watcher" and I watch movies in theaters early in the morning and blog about them (

  • Had two brain surgeries in 2010 and I celebrate "Happy Brain Day" every July 15th

  • Have two adorable nieces named Jordin and Sydney

  • Love watching movies with captions; especially Spanish captions

  • I'm addicted to lists, countdowns, clickbait i.e. WatchMojo, Buzzfeed, VH1 Countdowns

  • Pet Peeves: repeating myself, guys who tell me to "smile", walking behind slow people, people who make assumptions and don't ask, and unexpected and unnecessary loud noises

  • Obsessions: Cholula hot sauce, face masks, and steam rooms

  • Weird Fact: I get very grumpy if I don't have breakfast first thing in the morning, the same way people act when they don't get their coffee.

  • I'm incredibly shy & quiet around people I first meet which makes people think that I'm mean

  • I visit wax museums in every city that has at least one exhibit

About Me...

  • Preferred to be called "Jules" but NEVER "Jules Morales"; my name is Julia Morales or just call me "Jules"

  • Born in Columbus, Mississippi on an Air Force Base

  • Grew up in Houston, Texas

  • Graduated from Stafford High School in Stafford, Texas

  • I'm half Puerto Rican + half Black = Blackorican

  • I have a Sister (Victoria Morales) and a Brother (Daniel Morales); I'm the oldest

  • Attended the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance but graduated from The Amercian Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA)

  • Studied acting and improv comedy for over ten years

  • 2008 NBC Diversity Scholarship Recipient

  • Studied improv comedy at The Peoples Improv Theater (PIT), Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and The Magnet Theater in New York; also studied improv comedy at The Annoyance, iO, and The Second City in Chicago

  • I was the first woman of color to be cast on an improv house team at The PIT

  • Was hired by Second City Theatricals to perform improv and sketch comedy on the Norwegian Cruise Lines

  • Created a program called, "10,000 Hours" to help improv students practice their craft more outside of class without breaking their budget; the program still exists today and is being ran by actor/improviser, Michelle Francesca Thomas

  • Wrote and performed two solo shows, "Closed Doors" a character piece that displayed the silly interactions of characters in one apartment building and "Don't Tell Me To Shut Up", an honest personal journey of what it's been like being a Black/Puerto Rican female trying to create a career in comedy
